A new poll of millennials by Harvard University Institute of Politics which asks about marijuana has gotten some media attentions, so I thought I should stress what an extreme outlier it is compared with all other available national polling on the issue.

On November 5, 2013 tens of thousands of protestors marched in 477 locations around the globe. There were masks, chants, goofy signs, sincere view points, arrests, beatings, police opening up with non-lethal projectiles on protestors, flag burnings. There was lots of print/online coverage, but where were CNN, MSNBC and Fox News? And why weren’t they giving this global event any play?

Non-self aware Mormon cyborg Mitt Romney was in Chicago on Monday and campaign advisers got him to say “a thing that someone says to cause amusement or laughter, esp. a story with a funny punchline”. This “amusement thing ” or “joke” was about how kids these days are totally “whack” if they vote for Democrats instead of “cool hepcats” like himself and other late-middle-aged white men who can still quote lines verbatim from Caddyshack . . .
