“Historian” and “Strategic Advisor” Newt Gingrich Received Millions from Health Care Industry

It wasn’t clear if “direct Newt interaction” came with a happy ending.

Margaret Thatcher Refuses to Meet with Sarah Palin Because She’s “Nuts”

By: Blue Texan Tuesday June 7, 2011 10:30 am

Apparently, The Quitter — who’s going to Sudan in July to see the Sphinx in the great country of Africa and generally bolster her learnin’ about furriners — also wanted to sneak in a photo-op stop with the Iron Lady.

In New Campaign Film, Sarah Palin Compares Herself to French Saint

By: Blue Texan Thursday May 26, 2011 11:25 am

The Quitter is causing quite a stir with reports that she’ll be releasing a $1 million-dollar hagiography in Iowa, just in time for the caucuses. And based on early reviews, it appears that at some point, God instructed her to drive the English from Fairbanks.

Forward This Graph to Anyone You Know Blaming Obama for High Gas Prices

By: Blue Texan Sunday May 8, 2011 11:50 am

Gas prices rose dramatically while George W. Bush was in the White House (after they had complained that gas prices were too high under Clinton), dropped significantly during the Bush/Cheney recession, and are now, because of the recovery, returning to the previous trend. It would be good if some reporter would ask these Republicans what they were saying while gas prices went through the roof under President Arbusto and Vice Preisdent Halliburton. But there’s also something absurd about Republicans demanding that the government do something about gas prices. Wouldn’t that be interfering the free market?

In 2008, Bush, McCain and Palin All Blasted Obama’s Willingness to Strike Terrorist Targets in Pakistan

By: Blue Texan Monday May 2, 2011 10:30 am

It would be nice if some reporter would ask one of these clowns if — in light of recent events — they’ve had second thoughts about this.

Will the Media Ever Realize that the GOP’s 2012 Candidates are Trolls?

By: Blue Texan Thursday March 24, 2011 10:30 am

I keep waiting for the Village reporters to stop breathlessly covering every random utterance belched up by Newt Gingrich, but I suppose it’s never gonna happen.

How Benjamin Netanyahu Sees America

By: Blue Texan Wednesday March 23, 2011 10:30 am

It’s a given that Republican candidates for president must visit Israel and kiss Benjamin Netanyahu’s ring. Willard did it, so has Huck — who called Bebe “one of the world’s great leaders” — as has The Quitter just this week. And they always heap praise on the far-right Israeli Prime Minister, and sometimes take swipes at Obama. And who is this man they’re siding with over their own country?

The Republican Establishment Declares War on Sarah Palin

By: Blue Texan Monday March 14, 2011 10:30 am

The Quitter gets absolutely savaged by Republican insiders in the GOP/Village Daily today.

McCain Won’t Endorse Palin in 2012

By: Blue Texan Friday February 4, 2011 10:30 am

Serious question, though: when was the last time the Republican nominee refused to endorse anyone (including his veep pick) the next time around?

Michele Bachmann Just What the 2012 GOP Field Needs: More Crazy

By: Blue Texan Friday January 21, 2011 10:30 am

It’s tempting to dismiss this report as far-fetched, but with today’s Republican Party, there’s no such thing as too crazy.
