Ladies and gentlemen: The Blob, directed by Irvin S. Yeaworth, featuring a theme song by Burt Bacharach, is a masterpiece of small town angst and urgency that launched the careers of two superstars from the U.S. of A!

Holiday weekend limiting the guest lists I think. You’re in luck though, you do get the Three Amigos! Wimbledon preempts Meet the Press, sorry to say (“Never has the word ‘preempted’ be cause for such joy. Any chance that the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club will make Wimbledon an ongoing biweekly series instead of a once-a-year gig?” – Peterr).
