Down With (Micro) Tyranny!

We hurt the cause of democracy when we lord it over others. We become micro-tyrants, and we discourage, demoralize and dehumanize our victims, then wonder why they don’t engage in politics. Time to break the habit.

Chamber of Commerce vs. Populists

Good thing the U.S. Chamber of Commerce wasn’t around during the American Revolution. Instead of “The British are coming,” the cry would be:

The populists are coming. The populists are coming!
