Peter Lewis, Billionaire Marijuana Reform Advocate, Passes Away at 80

This is a sad day for the marijuana reform community. Peter Lewis, the billionaire chairman of Progressive Insurance died at his home in Florida on Saturday. He was 80. Lewis was a successful businessman, philanthropist and was very politically engaged.

For decades Lewis was also one of the most prominent advocates for marijuana reform. He was personally helped by the medical use of cannabis.
