Infiltration has been effectively used to undermine many social moments and Occupy is no different. FOIA requests show that the alphabet soup of organizations that make up the modern police state in America have been watching Occupiers around the country. In Cleveland, Chicago and other cities we have seen informants working undercover to entrap Occupiers and paint them as terrorists.

Drones are major issue in the antiwar movement that has come to the forefront after their unconstitutional and excessive use. Drones in Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and other countries cause high civilian casualties and have no accountability. In Washington, Congress pushes for relaxed regulations of drones in US Airspace and Department of Homeland Security has been posturing to put them in local police departments. Some have even stated that they want to see 30,000 drones in the US by 2020.
Our next Occupy Supply Skill Share is Wednesday August 1st at 8 pm Eastern Time

Occupy Raleigh is thrilled to receive this support package from Occupy Supply. Today we will begin handing out the clothing as is needed. Those staying at the camp the most will have priority for the warmest supplies first, however everyone will be able to have something to help fill in whatever winter clothing niche is most lacking. This kind of support does wonders for morale. It gives a tangible reminder of how widespread this struggle is. Its reinforces the notion that many of us are banding together in this struggle. I often say that one of the great advantages of the 99% is that there are so many of us with different ideas, abilities, talents, resources, and knowledge. Not everyone can occupy but everyone can find some way to support the movement. Occupy Supply is a wonderful example and reminder of this.

Now that the media has lost interest in the occupations, the hard work begins. Do whatever you can to support your local occupy encampment through the winter.

The package from #OccupySupply arrived on a Saturday 12/17 and I made an arrangement with Josh at the Occupation to meet Sunday AM.
Josh had a list of the 24/7 campers and he was able to do a Mic Check and gather everyone. What a special moment to see the people awestruck with the Occupy label, union made and made in America.

It’s been a busy few weeks at Occupy Tacoma. We can’t thank you enough for your second package filled with thermal underclothing, fleeces, jackets, hats and facemasks. The weather has been hovering in the 30′s all week, and so many occupiers have expressed their sincere gratitude for the extra warmth your donations provided them.

Another in our series of local occupation reports, this one from the FDL liaison for Salt Lake City. The post reports on the delivery of the first shipment of warm weather clothing to Occupy SLC. Photos show occupiers and lots of appreciation for the quality and thoughtfulness of the supplies.
