Following a tradition of people born to millionaires who declare themselves self-made, Mitt Romney shows no sign of becoming self-aware. Romney’s “envy” remark came after Lauer asked about the concerns of “anyone who has questions about the distribution of wealth and power in this country.” “I think it’s about envy. I think it’s about class [...]

| By: David Dayen Wednesday January 11, 2012 4:32 pm |
Yesterday in New Hampshire, repeat dirty trickster James O’Keefe had the bright idea of getting some of his lackies to impersonate a voter. This would display how easy it is to commit voter fraud, or so one assumes was their point. Well, not only was it not all that easy, but the lackies in question were caught and could see jail time as a result. | By: Pam Spaulding Sunday January 8, 2012 9:30 am |
These 2012 GOP Primary debates are filled with both humor and horror when it comes to LGBT issues. The fact that these straight white guys are up there talking about how to “preserve marriage” from LGBT Americans as well as basic civil rights is embarrassing. On Sunday’s Meet the Press (screen cap at right), there was less focus on TEH HOMOs, but Saturday’s New Hampshire debate was seriously out of control.
