FDL’s Hot House 100: (10/25 Update) Now Two More Congressional Races to Watch

I’m adding two seats, KY-06 and NE-01, to the FDL Election Hot House list (making it the Hot House 100!) because recent public polling has shown both races within five points. I’m also updating four other House seats–HI-01, MA-04, MA-10 and MI-01–to reflect new public polling information.

Mike Rogers, the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee’s incumbent-retention program, has pinpointed the nine most vulnerable GOP House members up for re-election and wants supporters to focus only on them. All represent districts that carried President Obama in 2008. Here’s a look at the endangered nine.

As the NYT reported earlier today, Genentech/Roche wrote a Republican script and a Democratic script for its parrots to enter into the Congressional Record. Here’s what the Republican script looks like (I’m going to try to do the Democratic one next–but this is tedious stuff; and yes, Heath Shuler was working from the Republican script).
