Several new polls of the Arkansas Senate race have been released, and they all point to the same conclusion: Democrat Blanche Lincoln is going to lose her re-election bid and lose it badly. Get ready for Republican Senator John Boozman.

Lincoln has two problems – she needs to actually attract more Democratic voters, which she has appeared unable to do thus far, and she needs to have motivated supporters turn out for her again, which defies the logic of where the motivated voters are in this primary. If numbers like these persist, I’d guess Lincoln may change her tune on holding another debate. Or maybe she won’t, since Halter destroyed her in the last one.

Tomorrow, May 18, there are three highly contested Democratic primaries for US Senate seats: Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Arkansas. In each race, the more left-leaning Democratic candidate is currently polling as the most electable.
