Another day means another new poll of the Iowa caucuses and it is more good news for Mitt Romney. According to the Marist/NBC poll Mitt Romney leads in the state followed by Ron Paul in a close second. From Marist.

With less than a week until the Iowa Caucuses, things are looking for good for Mitt Romney. The recent polls find him leading in the state or coming in a close second behind Ron Paul. Either would be a positive outcome for the Romney campaign.

A group of Iowaninions, frustrated with the current occupants of the Republican Clown Car (2012 or bust!), are making a pitch for a new candidate to save them from the socialist who will shove government healthcare down everyone’s throats (we’re speaking, of course, about Mitt Romney) so they have purchased radio time on many of Iowa’s radio stations to urge Ioweens to vote “rogue.”

There are now two more polls, in addition to the two polls released last weekend, showing that Newt Gingrich has the lead in the Iowa Caucus. A third poll shows Iowa voters now believe Gingrich is slightly more electable than Mitt Romney.

Two new polls put Newt Gingrich squarely in the lead in the Iowa Caucus. On Sunday the Des Moines Register released its poll by Selzer & Co. showing Gingrich leading with 25 percent. And this morning the NBC/Marist poll also found Gingrich ahead with roughly a quarter of the likely caucus voters.

There is now a near perfectly even four way split between Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in the Republican Iowa Caucus, according to the most recent Bloomberg poll.
