First, the Texas school books panel decided to elevate people such as Milton Friedman and Phyllis Schlafly while expanding their civil rights curriculum to include violence espoused by the Black Panthers and highlighting “unintended consequences” of affirmative action and Title IX.

Now, revisionist cheating has come to mass cultural enterprises, too.

Growing up during the some of the coldest years of the Cold War, I was taught two special evils of the Soviet Union: 1) The Soviets put ideology before science; 2) The Soviets were always rewriting history to erase the horrors of their rule.
