This year the four biggest and most important marijuana elections in the country are the legalization initiatives in Alaska, Oregon and the District of Columbia as well as the medical marijuana amendment on the ballot in Florida. These aren’t the only places where voters will get a chance to weigh in on the future of marijuana policy however. Over a dozen small measures will appear on ballots across the country next month.

North Korea has decided to once again up the rhetorical ante by threatening an attack on Guam, Hawaii, and the U.S. mainland. This comes after a litany of other threats that seemed to have been mostly ignored by the international community as a new round of UN sanctions were passed in the wake of North Korea’s third nuclear weapons test.

In the continually escalating conflict between North Korea and the United States a new threat has been issued from Pyongyang. The North Koreans have threatened to attack U.S military bases in Japan and Guam.

Tampa! Guess what? The RNC seated the delegates from Puerto Rico, U.S. Samoa and Guam up front to show the diversity of the GOP. However, residents of those territories can’t vote in the Presidential election. According to the reports on MSNBC, delegations which have minorities will be seated in camera lines. But I’ve been watching Fox News and the convention looks pretty homogeneously white.
