Fort Hood Shooter Was Iraq War Veteran With PTSD Symptoms

The soldier who engaged in a shooting spree at Fort Hood yesterday, killing three and then himself, was an Iraq War veteran suffering from conditions like PTSD according to the commanding general of Fort Hood.

The shooter, Army Specialist Ivan Lopez, “was being treated for behavioral and mental health issues” and had served four months in Iraq in 2011.
