Candidates and parties like to have officlals that were once members of the opposite party endorse them. Democrats have managed to secure former Republican governor of Florida, Charlie Crist, for their convention, after he endorsed Obama. Crist will probably end up with a decent speaking slot to highlight Mr. Obama’s willingness to work across the aisle and how the GOP has made a hard turn to the right.

Oh that Bill Clinton is certainly a busy man! Whether posing with porn stars–who most likely paid for the privilege of snuggling the former president, if the price list below is any indication—or inviting me and presumably tens of thousands of others to spend an evening with him and Obama in New York City, William Jefferson Clinton is a tireless fund raising machine for both his own foundation and for the Democratic Party.
