In the drive to privatize governmental functions that traditionally were considered solely the province of government, apparently, we have to assure there is a steady supply of prisoners in the pipeline so that firms such as Corrective Corporation of America can make a profit no matter the expense to society and what better way to do that than to grab the children under age ten, give them criminal records so they can be locked up.

Guess what? Like many of the other privatization efforts, it’s a con.
