CBS/AP has a report on “Occupy the Iowa Caucus,” wondering what kind of influence Occupy had on the Iowa Caucus. The report concludes that while there were “attention-grabbing protests” in the run-up to the Caucus the outcome of the Caucus shows Occupy has not “matured into a political force,” mostly because it doesn’t behave like the Tea Party. So?

Harry Belafonte, promoting his HBO documentary “Sing Your Song” about his career-long work alongside civil rights activists, had some priceless comments on what’s gone wrong in the Obama Administration.

Despite all the interest and questions/answers relating to Medicare, there was no one on the show who could enlighten us on what really matters. We had a liar, an uninformed interviewer who may believe the lies, and a compromised Democrat who had to protect Obama’s deals rather than fight not only for the people who actually need Medicare but for a structure that benefits everyone else too.

In an attempt to get a handle on what exactly the good common sense salt-of-the-earth Real Americans of flyover country think about the America-hating homosexual communists in the Mainstream Media, CBS sat down with anger bear Andrew Breitbart who operates a ramshackle race baiting shack in rustic, yet quaint, Brentwood.

We know House Republicans are playing games with the debt ceiling because if a party weren’t, they would have already taken care of it. Or at the least made it abundantly clear they would take care of it in a non-hostage-taking, timely manner, such that journalists wouldn’t even bother asking about it.

This wouldn’t be the first time networks’ relationships with “consultants” has compromised their reporting.

Because nothing says “laying the foundation” of a Presidential campaign and “inspiring new” supporters like caving to fearmongering.

In last night’s episode of CBS’s legal drama The Good Wife, Just Say Now was briefly featured in the episode’s plot. Peter Florrick, the character played by Chris Noth, is the main character’s husband making a run for his old seat as the State’s Attorney after being imprisoned for corruption. Peter seeks to make a political comeback by turning out the youth vote on the wave of a medical marijuana initiative in the state.

The show briefly featured a big board featuring the Just Say Now logo, and in a mock-web video, shows Peter speaking with students at a meeting of the fictional “Cook State College” Just Say Now chapter. Below are two screen captures of Just Say Now on The Good Wife.

At a time when our government is lecturing dictators in other countries about censorship, you’d think they’d be a bit bothered by the manner in which corporations are using our own public airwaves.
