It’s Morningtime! This afternoon Teddy hosts Book Salon, with Daniel Hernandez, the young man who rushed to Gabby Giffords aid when she got shot, helping to save her life. At the time he was an aide to the Congresswoman, he was recently elected to Sunnyside Unified School District governing board. It will be interesting to [...]

Rabbit’s gonna give you tough love.
A lot of the same old, same old on today (surprise!) and also Gene Sperling many times, but even though Bob Woodward does show up in a roundtable, he isn’t matched up with Sperling.

Codebreaker is Movie Night Monday’s offering, the story of Alan Turing. He was a giant of a mind and it’s shocking that he was driven to suicide at the relatively young age of 41 just because he was gay. He was frank about his sexuality, all but negating the concern that that information could be used as blackmail against him; nevertheless he underwent chemical castration (good god). I can’t begin to imagine what we as a society lost because of of this idiotic prejudice. We owe him so much.
