Minnesota Archbishop Nienstedt directed Catholic priests to help organize political efforts to pass a state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. Now it appears the Church has formed an alliance with both the National Organization of Marriage and the Minnesota Family Council, a group known for its dishonest, hateful scare tactics against gays.
