Trayvon Martin’s acquitted murderer George Zimmerman has been slapped with a cease and desist letter by the Associated Press over his latest piece of
artwork crap painting. The painting, featuring Florida State Attorney Angela Corey, is clearly copied form an widely circulated AP photograph, taken by Rick Wilson. Wilson also retained legal counsel to uphold his copyright.

A drone strike by the United States, which targeted a wedding convoy, reportedly killed anywhere from ten to seventeen people and injured as many as thirty individuals.
Most of the people killed were civilians, which makes the attack one of the worst in Yemen since the US began to launch drone strikes there.

Patriot Act author Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) wants DNI James Clapper fired and prosecuted for lying to Congress. During testimony under oath Clapper lied to Senator Ron Wyden about the NSA’s spying programs that involved scooping up information from Americans.
“Lying to Congress is a federal offense, and Clapper ought to be fired and prosecuted for it,” the Wisconsin Republican said

All polling since the government shutdown fight started indicates most of the political damage is falling on the Republicans. A new AP poll found the American people are more likely to blame the current situation on Congressional Republicans than Obama or the Democrats.
