Sydney Leathers showed up–uninvited– at Anthony Weiner’s NYC election concession party (cue sad trombone). And she wore red. Leathers played Weiner for her own advancement in the sex industry; and he was trapped by a woman with fewer morals, but more honesty, than he.

Scott Hounsell was arrested Friday, August 2 by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a nationwide task force focused on child victimization. He was booked on suspicion of sending harmful matter to a child and released later that day after making his $40,000 bail.

Seeing as how our own local mayor is having his own grabby-kissy-headlocky-you-work-better-without-panties problems with the ladies which has brought The Pox of Allred upon our fair city (the only way to stop Gloria Allred from getting to a microphone is to put an actual courtroom between her and a podium) I have been loath to point out that NYC’s Anthony Weiner seems to lack the good judgement and the ability to make common sense decisions that one would come to expect from a Big City Mayor.

It seems Anthony Weiner may be the final piece of proof that “scandals” of purely of a sexual and personal nature are no longer a significant hindrance in American politics. The latest NBC NY/WSJ/Marist poll of the New York City mayoral race found that Weiner’s standing has improved significantly and he now has a very good chance of actually winning.

Now that individuals like David Vitter and Mark Sanford have proven there is simply no sex based scandal that a heterosexual male politician can’t recover from, it has encouraged Anthony Weiner to get back into politics. Just two years after resigning from Congress because of sending sexual pictures to random women, Weiner is launching a new campaign.

In case you missed it, earlier this week marked the kick-off of former Congressman and notorious cocksman Anthony Weiner’s 2013 Reputation Rehab and Sorry I Tweeted My Wang At Your Face World Tour. No, it probably won’t be coming to the Hard Rock in your city, no matter how appropriate that may seem, which is too bad because I bet the tour t-shirts are awesome.

Herman Cain has managed to turn sexual harassment allegations from the 90s into a current credibility crisis over his often changing explanations and denials. This seems another case of the coverup doing more damage than the original allegations.

Incredibly, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching a half-million dollar ad buy into New York City with one weekend to go until a special House election in NY-09, the seat once held by Anthony Weiner. That half a million dollars would have come in very handy next year, when Democrats make a push to take back the House, no? Instead, it’s being chewed up in the expensive New York City media market to protect a bad candidate whose district will probably get chopped up in redistricting anyway.
