According to the Advocate magazine, there is now a HUGE effort to keep African-Americans from voting for President Obama because of his support of marriage equality.

When the NAACP passed a resolution support marriage equality, it was inevitable they would be attacked by wannabe black leaders who claim to lead “big time” organizations with important sounding names. But they don’t represent most of the black community.

Glenn Beck has kept his promise to bring 100,000 plus “teabaggers” and other assorted right-wing and racist reactionaries to Washington, D.C. in a supposed commemoration of the 1963 March on Washington, which culminated in Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I have a dream” speech. the right-wing can mobilize tens of thousands and bring them to D.C., while the left is mired in electoralism, i.e., concentrate everything on elections, and leave the streets to the demagogues.
