National support for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) has completely crumbled from its previous lofty heights. Before the bridge scandal he was both the clear leader in the Republican primary and more importantly the only Republicans that polled as having a real chance of beating Hillary Clinton. That is now all gone.

What started as an Obama nominee filibuster has split the Republican Party in two. The principal combatants being Senator John McCain representing the imperialist faction and Senator Rand Paul representing the libertarian faction. The battle could determine the future of American foreign policy and civil liberties.
The dispute got personal with Senator McCain calling Senator Paul a member of the “wacko birds caucus.” And it appears Senator Paul used his time at CPAC yesterday to fire back.

Now that marijuana legalization initiatives have been approved in Colorado and Washington State, the big question for the marijuana reform movement is what should be the next move. Mainly, should there be a push to put similar legalization initiatives on the ballot in targeted states in 2014 or is it better to wait until the 2016 election?
