From Bloody Sunday to Gaza, Justice Matters

By: Siun Sunday June 20, 2010 6:00 pm

In the midst of tracking news of Gaza this week, I heard the report that the Saville Commission on Bloody Sunday had – after 38 years – found that the actions of the British government on January 30, 1972 were “unjustified” and “indefensible.”

Come Saturday Morning: Take a Bow

By: Phoenix Woman Saturday June 19, 2010 6:30 am

I think these folks should take a bow. They went above and beyond the call of duty this week.

Israel’s Two Statements: “Liberalize” Blockade in English, No Such News in Hebrew

By: Siun Thursday June 17, 2010 10:02 am

The Prime Minister’s Office issued a press release in English following the meeting, which was also sent to foreign diplomats, was substantially different than the Hebrew announcement – according to the English text, a decision was made to ease the blockade, but in the Hebrew text there was no mention of any such decision.

By: Phoenix Woman Monday June 7, 2010 1:45 pm
