Obama: “He Broke the Law.” So Much for that Trial?
President Barack Obama made stunning accusations about accused Wikileaks whistleblower PFC Bradley Manning, directly asserting that Manning “broke the law.” Apparently the President of the United States of America and a self-described Constitutional scholar does not care that Manning has yet to be tried or convicted for any crime.
Tell Gates: Drop the ‘Aiding the Enemy’ Charges!
The Department of Defense is now charging accused WikiLeaker Pfc Bradley Manning with aiding and abetting the enemy – a crime that carries a maximum penalty of life in prison without parole.
But the only ones ‘aided and abetted’ by the leaked cables were the millions of pro-democracy protestors who overthrew despots, in part sparked by the release of the Wikileaks cables that plainly exposed corruption in their countries.
Sign our petition to Secretary Gates demanding the government drop its charges of aiding and abetting the enemy against Manning and stop demonizing pro-democratic movements abroad.
