When I take something that doesn’t belong to me, my Mommy makes me give it back and then she sends me to my room. The banksters took a lot of money that didn’t belong to them, and Mr. O gave them more money and now is doing everything they ask for. He hasn’t sent any of them to jail. Now I think the banksters know that they can do anything they want. Maybe this would be a good time to hide your money from them.

FBI Ignored, Hid Data Potentially Excluding Bruce Ivins as Anthrax Killer |
| By: Jim White Friday May 20, 2011 5:22 pm |
A report from McClatchy provides important new evidence and analysis in the FBI’s Amerithrax investigation of the 2001 anthrax attacks. The report shows that the FBI ignored as potentially erroneous a measurement of silicon in one anthrax sample and then hid this information from Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY). Even more importantly, the high silicon measurements in at least two samples also were coupled with high tin measurements, opening up the possibility that silicon was added to the attack material in a form that is not mentioned in any of the FBI documents.
Significantly, it is virtually impossible that Bruce Ivins, whom the FBI has concluded acted on his own to carry out the attacks, would have been able to perform the necessary chemical manipulations involved in this treatment of the spores. Ivins likely also would not have had access to the necessary laboratory equipment to perform this treatment.

Afghan Night Raid Leads to Thousands Protesting, More Death |
| By: Jim White Wednesday May 18, 2011 8:03 am |
David Petraeus’ favorite tool for cowing populations into quiescence, the night raid, has led yet again to deaths NATO characterizes as insurgents but Afghans say are civilians. In this case, four were killed in an overnight raid Tuesday night, two men and two women. A crowd of two to three thousand took to the streets in Taloqan and there were multiple deaths when police opened fire on the crowd.
Obama Administration Set to Cover for Petraeus’ Training Failure |
| By: Jim White Friday May 13, 2011 8:50 am |
On Wednesday, I noted that Senator John Kerry (D-MA) was quoted in the Washington Post pointing out the impossibility of David Petraeus’ plan to train Afghan forces to take over security responsibility in Afghanistan after a US pullout. I predicted a ramping up of the Petraeus propaganda machine kicking into gear to protect Petraeus’ reputation as he prepares to assume control of the CIA in his planned preparation for the presidency. Friday’s Los Angeles Times has a remarkable article where we see that the Obama administration is planning to “scale back” training of Afghan forces under cover of saving money. The Times tries to present this as the administration somehow pushing back against Petraeus’ plans, but it looks to me much more like the administration is covering for the abject failure, once again, of Petraeus’ training myth.
Late Night: Pouting Baby Asks Why Mr. Banana Holder Has His Job |
| By: Jim White Thursday May 12, 2011 8:00 pm |
Why does it take Senator Barbara B to tell Mr. Banana Holder to do his job? Why won’t he do his job the way he should? Why does Mr. Banana Holder even have his job if he won’t punish people who break the law?
John Kerry at Nexus of Pakistan Relations, Afghanistan Strategy |
| By: Jim White Wednesday May 11, 2011 7:00 am |
With US-Pakistan relations strained over the US mission that killed Osama Bin Laden and the push by many in Congress to accelerate withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in the wake of Bin Laden’s death, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) finds himself at the nexus of these two vital issues. Recall that Kerry was one of a number of US elected officials who visited Pakistan during the Raymond Davis saga, claiming that he felt his visit would achieve Davis’ release “within the next few days” after his visit. Davis was eventually released four weeks after the Kerry trip. Today, we see Kerry featured prominently in the news for his plan to visit Pakistan again in an attempt to repair damage to US-Pakistan relations arising from the Bin Laden mission and for his statements suggesting that a new Afghanistan strategy is now needed.
Did the US Intend to Torture Bin Laden’s Children? |
| By: Jim White Monday May 9, 2011 6:50 am |
In the midst of the ongoing orgy of adulation for Seal Team Six killing Osama Bin Laden and the former Vice President appearing on television to advocate a return to waterboarding as official US torture policy, there has been little attention to the fact that Pakistan took several wives and children of Bin Laden into custody after the US raid of the compound. The US now seeks access to these family members. Did the US intend to torture these children with insects as they did Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s children, if the helicopter on which they would have flown had not been destroyed?
Late Night: Why Does Poopy Pat Hate People Who Are Different? |
| By: Jim White Thursday May 5, 2011 8:01 pm |
Poopy Pat has been spreading his poop for over forty years, but he’s still mean to people who are different from him. I’m usually a lot less cranky after a big poop, so I don’t know why Poopy Pat is still so mean after all this poop. My Mommy tells me that everyone is different, and that’s what makes us special. Poopy Pat thinks different is bad instead of special. That’s really sad when you think about it.
