I love my bee girls. I never expected such a small hobby with such serendipital beginnings to develop into such an emotionally satisfying experience. As Chris says: It’s not about the honey. It’s about the bees.

What is your favorite place and why?

It could be someplace, foreign or domestic, where you have traveled. It could be your own favorite corner or garden or park or right at home or in your neighborhood. It could be someplace inside your head that comes from a book or from your own imagination. It could be because you love the place for physical reasons, like beauty or physical accomplishment, or for emotional reasons, like associations with favorite people or memorable lifetime events.

“The Nature of Political Leadership.” Think about what that means. Have you ever asked yourself what the fundamental nature of political leadership is? Prof. Ludwig is a psychiatrist, a student of human nature, not a political scientist.

The short-short-version is alpha male. Humans try to create postevolutionary times, but with bodies, limbic, and other systems that are stuck in evolutionary times.

You don’t need to ‘believe’ that conclusion. Because Prof. Ludwig did not just sit in his ivory tower at the University of Kentucky and think about it. What is so valuable about this book is that it is empirical. Evidence—imagine that!
