I hope everyone is enjoying the year thus far. There has been a lot of pain and adversity for many, but I am trying to remain positive. I have started my bout of trying to lose the rest of my weight and getting healthy. Rashad will be running around soon and I have to be able to catch him.

My point is this…no matter how bad things may be in our lives and even in our country, there are people elsewhere that are doing a lot worse than we are. We should be careful how we talk about our lives, what we don’t have, how we hate our jobs, etc. There are people in Haiti now searching for their loved ones underneath piles of debris and rubble.
