Muthathar al Zaidi, an Iraqi journalist, threw both of his shoes at George W Bush as he completed his prepared remarks congratulating himself on the "Surge"™

"This is a goodbye kiss, you dog!"

Dogs, as well as shoes, are among the worst insults in Iraqi culture, of course.
