Is It Sarah Palin?

Posted in: 2008 Election, John McCain, Republicans

225px-Palin1.JPGLots of noise swirling around this morning about Sarah "Drill Drill Drill" Palin, the governor of Alaska, being McSame’s veep pick. Here’s the latest dispatch from the Baltimore Sun:

A Republican source confirms that John McCain has chosen Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate. Campaign officials, however, remain mum this morning.

And CNBC makes the same call.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a self-styled "hockey mom" who has only been governor for a little over a year, is GOP Presidential candidate John McCain’s choice for Vice President, CNBC has learned.

We’ll find out more soon.

I just saw Mark Halperin wringing his hands on CNN saying Palin, who is younger than Obama, effectively kills McSame’s "not ready" meme.

UPDATE

MSNBC just confirmed it’s Palin.
