• Ben Tribbett (NotLarrySabato) does a walk-through of the Big Tent for CSPAN, and we chat about the ABC producer who was arrested trying to investigate some Senators and their big donor in the video above . The K Street Project — not just for Republicans any more!
• The McCain campaign is scheduling an event for Saturday night. The Caucus concludes that since Lieberman doesn’t do events on the Sabbath, unless it’s a giant head fake he’s not getting the VP nod. Tim Tagaris reminds me he showed up to the Temptations on a Friday night during the Lamont race, so I’m not sure he wouldn’t sell that out too. But I’m also hearing Kay Bailey Hutchinson, based on — well, nothing.
• Poor Fox News. They’ve been running with the Angry PUMA story all week, but the combined effect of the Clinton speech last night, and the complete failure to find any holdout delegates sort of blew it up.
• Handicap access at Pepsi Center was for shit. Old people walking for miles across hot pavement, proud that they’re representing their state as delegates and all dressed up, it was painful to watch what they were put through. I’m hearing the line for Invesco now stretches for miles. As John Amato writes — this is completely FUBAR.
