Liberals and Conservatives Agree: Nikki Tinker’s Campaign Is Reprehensible

Posted in: Uncategorized

Yesterday Emily’s List issued a statement denouncing the vicious ad released by Harold Ford’s machine candidate Nikki Tinker against Blue America candidate Steve Cohen (which has now been yanked from YouTube).

The primary is today, and as Howie noted yesterday, Cohen’s request for help from Nancy Pelosi and the DCCC fell on deaf ears. (The excuse we’ve always heard when the DCCC backs reactionary, anti-choice Republicans running as Democrats is that "it’s an incumbent organization." I never want to hear that one again.)

Anyway, this doesn’t happen very often so I thought it was worth documenting:  Red State and Jack and Jill Politics agree about the deplorable Tinker campaign tactics.

She also made Olbermann’s "Worst Person in the World" last night.

Who says you can’t have it all?
