Surge-y Success? Iraqis Say “Blood is Not So Cheap”

US forces admitted today to killing three bank employees, calling the killing “an extremely unfortunate and tragic incident” while trying to cover-up earlier lies they were armed insurgents.

They said nothing about killing the Saladin Governor’s son in a raid witnesses described as “another ‘blunder’ of ‘trigger-happy GIs.’” The Governor said “the ‘murder… will not go in vain.’

Azzaman’s Fatih Abdulsalam warns:

Iraqis now have nothing else to lose. On the road to avenge their blood, it will be time for the others to bleed.

Let no one think that Iraqi blood is so cheap.
