Needs More Than Just Milk

Given the goober-osity of the media’s lame attempts at racial coverage and GOP pundits expressing outright racial hostility the last few months, it’s no wonder The Daily Show has taken a few choice shots. But CNN’s upcoming Black in America special reports (July 23 and 24) look promising.

We’ve come a long way from Ruby Bridges…but not nearly far enough.

This is a conversation we should have been having all along. We dipped a toe in during the primaries, but never quite delved past the shallow water. Good for CNN for seemingly trying to jump in feet first.

Then again, they still have the Dobbs-o-meter…
