The Most Important Last Primary EVAR!!!
Posted in: 2008 Election, Democrats, Hillary Clinton, Obama
Ohthankgod. We’re finally in the home stretch of The Neverending Primary, and boy are my arms tired.
On tonight’s program, we have Montana with 16 pledged delegates, and South Dakota, with 15. According to CNN, Obama needs only 10 4 delegates to reach the new, post-MI-FL-seating-plan majority number of 2,118, so unless he gets totally skunked in both states and gets no more superdelegates (they’ve been trickling in all day), he will clinch tonight. ARG has him slightly ahead in MT, and way behind in SD, although FiveThirtyEight Nate disagrees, and believes Obama will actually win SD.
I think it’s all over but the shouting. And there has been a lot of shouting.
