Hillary, Like All Liberals, Is An Object Of Republican Death Fantasies

So it seems that Barack Obama isn’t the only Democratic presidential candidate who is the object of death fantasies posing as "jokes" on the part of Republicans: Hillary Clinton is too, and this time it’s from a member of Congress:

Right now, U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert is up. He repeated a joke I first heard him tell at the Pierce County Republicans’ Lincoln Day breakfast earlier this year. It involves an airplane that’s going to crash, one fewer parachute than passengers and, ultimately, Hillary Clinton dying.

Goldy gives you the outline of the joke, which we’ve all heard at one time or another, usually at interminable class reunions and family soirees.

Reichert, you’ll recall, actually bragged that he’d had a bus driver (a single mom) for a local school district fired for flipping off President Bush from the driver’s seat of her bus (she’d been blocked by Bush’s interminable motorcade with a bus full of kids). And it was all about "civility" back then.

As Andrew at NPI observes:

When Congressman Reichert goes before nonpartisan audiences he likes to bemoan the loss of civility and lack of bipartisanship in Washington, D.C. Apparently he does not really mean it, because when he gets before his fellow Republicans he takes a very different tone — this is just the latest unfortunate example of that.

Yeah, but we already know that Reichert is just another phony "moderate Republican" anyway. Always fun to watch the mask slipping.
