Turkey Bombs Iraq

When you look up the word "clusterfuck" in the dictionary, it says "see Terror, War On."

Turkish warplanes bombed Kurdish rebel bases deep inside Iraq in a three-hour overnight operation, rebel officials said today.

The aircraft attacked Iraq’s Qandil region, dozens of miles from the border with Turkey, the spokesman Ahmed Danas claimed.

Bombers also hit 10 other sites near the northern Iraqi towns of Khnezah and Lowlan close to the Iranian border, in an operation that started late yesterday.

Awesome!

Does this mean we get to bomb Turkey now, since Iraq is our ally in The War On Terror? Or should we take Turkey’s side and start bombing the only half-way functional and stable region of Iraq?And since Turkey is in NATO, what if one of those bombs "close to the Iranian border" happens to, you know, slip? Just who do we bomb?

The White House on Friday endorsed the air strikes, saying they targeted "terrorists".
