BREAKING: Clinton Campaign Manager Solis Doyle Is Out, Williams Is In

Posted in: 2008 Election, Hillary Clinton

According to Steve Clemons at the Washington Note, citing a report from Cillizza at the WaPo, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, has stepped down. According to Steve, longtime Clinton confidante, Maggie Williams — who used to be Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff when she ws first lady, is being brought on to helm the campaign.   There is some dispute as to whether she’s been fired or stepped down on her own — am hearing both from different sources — but either way, Solis Doyle is out and Williams is in as of today.

And I’m hearing rumors that there are more shake-ups to follow — but no one is willing to name any names just yet. The ripples from last night’s caucus and a failure to score a shut-out last Tuesday appear to continue.

More from ABCNews.  And, as we get it anything else, you’ll be the first to know.
