Caucus Morning

As an Iowegian, let me just say the following to the visiting mainstream media.

Thanks for coming, thanks for spending your money, thanks for all the condescension. Thanks for your "wise" pontificating that will end up being wide of the mark, but yet amazingly prescient to you as you pretend otherwise in the after effects of this most bizarre of American political rituals.

And remember, Caucus season doesn’t start again until January 22, 2009 and we’ll see you all back here in July 2011 when Iowa is forced to keep it’s "first in the nation status" by holding the caucuses then.
