How Much Do Senate Democrats Like the President?

Posted in: BushCo

Per Greg at The Talent Show, let’s look at the President’s approval ratings in the new CBS News Poll:

Now, let’s assume for the sake of argument that if a vote on Feingold’s resolution were taken today and 10 Democrats supported Feingold. We’re being charitable here, because 10 Democrats have not yet voiced their support for Feingold. But say that they did. If 10 Senate Democrats out of 44 are willing to stand against the President, that gives him a 77% approval rating among Senate Democrats, or 3% higher than his approval rating right now with the Republican base.

Offered without further comment.

Update: Mad props to Jamie at intoxination.net who has been working like a fiend to get this site up and running. He’s got a great lefty blog too so please check him out.
