Donna Edwards Takes on Al Wynn Over Foreclosure Crisis

“The banks have had their candidate in this race,” Donna says, as the names American Express, Bank of America, Chevy Chase Savings, Citicorp, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Wachovia scroll up the screen — all supporters of Congressman Al Wynn. Wynn voted for the Bankruptcy Law that requires homeowners to prioritize their credit card debt even over their house payment.

“More than 700 homes have been foreclosed in Montgomery County, Maryland, and Prince Georges County has the highest foreclosure rate in the state.”
