Home Depot Throws Falafel Bill Under the Bus?
Posted in: Blogosphere
John Aravosis is reporting that Home Depot may be having second thoughts about being in bed with O’Reilly. (Sorry about that, eyeball bleach and steel wool available at the door.)
Anyway, they sent this email out this morning:
Good morning,
Thank you very much for your message. The Home Depot has a policy that prohibits the running of its advertising on programs that express strong opinions or political views. Please note that this includes Bill O’Reilly’s program.
Thank you,
Ron
Good to know. Unfortunately they may be having a bit of a gingko moment, because they were sending this out only days ago:
Thank you for contacting The Home Depot Customer Care.
We appreciate you taking the time to forward your concerns regarding The Home Depot’s sponsorship of Bill O’ Reilly’s show on FOX.
Did they or don’t they? Will they or won’t they?
And the bigger question — is Alberto Gonzales writing Home Depot’s customer relations emails now?
