Glen Campbell and John Hartford — Gentle On My Mind from the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.
What’s on your mind?
I remember this performance very well and am thrilled to see it again. The song was one of my late father’s favorites.
hey lordgoogoo — so glad you like it (and remember it). my dad was a huge glen campbell fan too. how ya doing tonight?
i am a lineman for the county
Hey Suzanne! Baby Aiden 10.5 pounds last week.
Even the Nation magazine editors are calling and end to the Gaza massacre http://m.thenation.com/article/180826-israel-must-stop-its-campaign-terror so depressing all those people suffering the agonies of death and destruction.
Aloha, Suz, lordgoogoo, and lln pups…!
My Son is midway over the Pacific as I type, Suz…! ;-)

dueling with carl jackson
This is the first time he’s been away from the Mrs for so long(and on the Mainland), it should be interesting to see how it’s changed him…! ;-)
will he be able to help with taking care of mrs tut? how is she doing?
mull of kintyre on bagpipes
I hope he will help with his mother, rather than asking her to wait on him hand and foot…! She would be doing a lot better if she stopped doing things with her bum shoulder…! 8-(
my knee docs in the bay area used to always rag on me for trying to do too much too soon. tis hard for a mom to not try to take care of others
chugging with the guys
I try to anticipate her needs and wants, but, once I turn my back on her, off comes the sling and other tomfoolery…!
Good morning, Suzanne! Gentle on My Mind is a real trip down memory lane – I haven’t heard this song for at least 30+ years. Thanks for posting it. I’ll be humming it while trotting through the forest.
gonna be even worse when your son gets back home. he’s gonna need to be told just how important it is that she not use that shoulder or arm … would be a bad thing if she ended up with limited mobility
I went to the U of O, too, and studied French and German, while you were in Fine Arts. We used to talk a lot about art and music (Boz Scaggs, Frank Sinatra), and I tutored you a bit in French.
hey sanssouci — so glad you like it. how’s your morning starting off?
a medley with dean martin
Just fine – for once, it’s not raining!
woohoo! makes for a fine morning run in the forest….
Wiki says Mr Campbell is in a permanent Alzheimer’s home sad. He has had a very full life and he and his latest wife converted to Messianic Jews in Phoenix.
roll with me baby
We’re you in the honors program with Diane? She carried 24 hours a semester. Boz was one of Diane’s favorite artist. She also hated leisure suits. UofO was a great place to run the River trail, the hills in Eugene. Thanks for the helps in French. What is your present profession Sansouci?
token has woke up so tis time for me to take him out.
g’nite all — happy dreams
Sweet dreams, Suz…!
I did a study abroad program in German. I went early and stayed in Paris. Attended the Alliance Francois and roomed with a French Engineer. Bought his old Peugeot and drove to Italy and Greece. Loved all the wonderful art especially Firenze. The bridge artisan were incredible and the Italians were very hospitable. Thank you UofO.
Must read from the Norwegian doctor in Al Shifa hospital http://mondediplo.com/blogs/letter-from-gaza
I still hate leisure suits! In the States, you’d call me an ND, a Doctor of Naturopathy; that’s the closest thing to what I do over here. I specialize in Japanese acupuncture, ear acupuncture, homeopathy, physical therapy, leech treatment, and counseling in post-traumatic stress syndrome. I have quite a few patients who were tortured in East German prisons, for example. But also everyday ailments like backache, colds and flu, sleep disturbance. I’m like the country doctor who works with the same patients for years on end – I just use alternative/naturopathic/holistic medicine.
How did you like Alliance Francaise? Et Paris – moi, j’aime Paris, c’est vrai!
Evening CT, firegods
Tut read the Doctor’s letter he is a volunteer from Norway says this is by far the most inhumane of the three wats inflicted on Gaza. He pleads with Obama to spend a day in the emergency room. They have few medical supplies, rusted facilities and are working three shifts at a time.
As.some here says about Americans why don’t the Jews follow their faith?
What you are doing is very special. I hope you have a talented staff to help you. My life love is organic food as healing medicine for staying healthy and giving energy. I try to grow as much as I can in my duplex. I build raised beds and cover them with recycled window glass to keep them warm and lower transevaporation. Keep bugs out. I worked for an organic merchant in S.F. before going to Portland State then UofO. Alternative meds are pretty awesome. Parisians speak rapidly and with liaisons it was quite challenging. Mais tres interresant! Nice chatting try email@example.com
Hey PD how you holding up. Getting in any rides?
Thanks for the update BB; gotta run (actually, now it’ll be walking) to work. Good night, everyone, and let Glen Campbell sing you to sleep! Mahalo!
I,think, you commented on the emptywheel post on Gaza http://www.emptywheel.net/2014/07/30/will-obama-show-reagans-courage-and-suspend-tank-transfers-to-israel/
