What can we learn from that about the stupidity of jingoism and not considering the consequences of our actions or the morality of war in general?
If you are Jonah Goldberg…not much.

That was Jonah’s endorsement of going to war with Iraq. Now he gets to come back and pass judgment on other wars — after all he’s a self-proclaimed expert.
Say what you will about the Black Hand, Gavrilo Princip, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire at least they exited the scene eventually. Something that need not occur for the modern war-monger.
