Oklahoma tornado relief is one topic, among others, on the Sunday Talk Show circuit. And sadly, it appears John McCain had other plans this morning.
I would like to bring your attention to Bill Moyers’ interview with Tim DeChristopher. He’s the one who won a protest bid at BLM oil and gas lease auction. After that he was hauled out of there by federal agents, ultimately serving 21 months in jail for the heinous crime of bogus bid protesting. (Do I have to point out that the banksters have yet to be held to account for their very real deliberate thieving crimes, crimes with devastating consequences? I didn’t think so. But Gretchen Morgenson will get to that.)
Locally, FDL Book Salon features The End of Big: How the Internet Makes David the New Goliath. Dave Johnson and Stuart Zechman will be Virtually Speaking later this evening. And Movie Night Monday may or may not be a celebration of sword fighting skeletons.
