Flogging Molly – Drunken Lullabies
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all the Celtic (or otherwise) pups…!
What’s on your mind tonite…?
Hi, Tut; are you up on the mountain tonight?
Aloha, lln pups…!
Aloha, Dearie…! Nope, I’m stuck down here at sea level…! How’s your slice of Cali tonite…?
I’m always happy on the coast!
The Times They Are a Changing…
hiya CT, Dearie
The original Anti-War Protest song… Johnny I hardly knew’ya… It really is an excellent performance…! ;-)
Aloha, PPD…! How’s your Bay doing…?
it’s dark outside tonight, I think Jupiter was close to the crescent moon
The nights have been beautiful (when not, of course, fogged in) — did anyone see the comet? How about the Northern Lights?
“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said Michele Bachmann: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said Bachman, or you wouldn’t have come here.”__ Alice in CPACland
Plus, for fun, I was playing outside in the yard with my 4 year old grandtwins last night and one of them said, “Look, Grammy, there’s a crescent moon.” So cute! I love doing night sky with them. They are so very interested!
We’ve been socked in all day, from sea level to the tip-top…!
Aloha, robert…! How’s So. Pa. doing tonite…?
*heh* Are You Ready to Rock…?
saw it online, but not directly. I’ll bet CT had a great view being that far south in HI.
I’m munching on some of The Sweety’s homemade mac & cheese and a creme-filled chocolate cupcake, washing it down, though, with Vitaminwater….
four years old? everything’s an adventure at that age!
My toobz are acting up bigtime tonite…! 8-(
Anybody else make some Corned Beef and Cabbage…?
Devil’s Dance Floor…
My life is out of control!!!!!!!!! I have too many cats! I just found a 4th one in the drainage ditch across from my house. A little baby kittah.
Kiss Me, I’m Shitfaced…
I know! Isn’t that great. I’m really enjoying the grandkids as they experience first experiences. Lots of fun. Allows me to see life anew. Get to put my cynicism aside now and then. That’s a plus.
Kitties in ditches need love…..
It make one feel much more wholesome to have grandkids. I love it.
Aloha, mary…! Are there any no-kill habitats nearby…?
Isn’t it amazing? If I didn’t have the five (plus two nieces) to care about, I think I’d get all grumpy and curmudgeony….. but I have to keep a hopeful spirit for their sakes. And they do so amuse and amaze me…. and they all make me laugh. And that is a good thing.
How are your grandbabies doing?
This little guy seems to be lost and not abandoned. He/she (?) is very friendly. I am going to spend some time trying to find its home. I have a friend down the street that that works with an animal rescue group.
If you go to my facebook page you can see a book I just put together of the baby boys for my parents. http://www.facebook.com/mary.m.mccurnin
They are soooooooooo cute.
I have turned into an insane person for babies. Who knew?
yep – haven’t figured out how corned beef and cabbage with potatoes got mixed up with St. Patrick?
funny how that happens. Potatoes and all those other new world veggies and fruits sure made their way around the world pretty quick.
time for some sleep, night all – be well.
It’s the best that can happen in later ages! I was playing ball with my 4 year olds last night, and I realized that I don’t pitch as well as I did when I coached beginning baseball with my own 3. But, wow, one of ‘em hits a solid at bat and the other throws a softball so hard that I know I won’t be throwing a real baseball with him! I love sports, and I’m thrilled that they do, too, and that they have talent!
I plan on teaching mine pool. But I swear I won’t play them for money.
True, and how quickly they became staple crops…! The Potato Famine really hit them hard…!
Well, you’ll have to wait until they are tall enough to see over the edge of the table!
Pleasant dreams, PPD…!
I used to make Irish soda bread for my family quite often, but that was some time ago. I really liked soda bread. Maybe I’ll make a loaf tomorrow.
Saints and Sinners…
True. Their late grandfather was a master at pool. He taught me everything I know about the game. I wish he was still around to meet these little people.
My daughter and I take the boys to visit their 95 year old greatgrandfather regularly. He really enjoys their visits. I’ll be interested to comprehend the impact of this relationship when they are older. He buys them toys to play with at his apartment …. and I’m certain that they will remember the cars that they play with on weekends. It’s all so interesting, really. I just know that it pleases my dad so much to have the opportunity to get to know these delightful little boys.
Nice. I love to hear stories about your dad. He sounds like a great guy.
Bagpipes from Down Under… Thunder Struck…
He’s a lot of fun. I’m so grateful for this time with him. He was a busy businessman during my youth, but he’s been a real pleasure to get to know in our dotage, as it were.
Hey, CT, speaking of kids, how’s the munchkin doing? Has he outgrown the seizures? Is he doing fine and making you laugh?
He’s doing great, Dearie…! I had the pleasure of babysitting him overnight on Thursday, he kept me hopping…! ;-)
Scottish Reggae… The Lion Sleeps Tonight…
Be some fine tunes yer pickin tonight lad. I managed to avoid the corned beef and green rental all day. came home to some fine “aged” Irish whisky,of this i am sure. Bless yer heart good Tut and here’s to ya.
Aloha, homer…! Glad ya like the tunage…! How frigid is it up there tonite…? Cheers to ya, too…! ;-)
CT: I’ve watched Iron Chef do truffle-mania, and I’m now ready for dream land. Happy dreams in your paradise.
Sweet dreams, Dearie…!

Nice to read of your GMO action there. Love to see the pics.
I’m already working on a dairy about it, homer…! Here’s a small clip… Hilo March Against Monsanto…
Hope you aint milkin Monsanto shit outa that bovin.
Whiskey In The Jar…
Nice video you are so fortunate to live where you do, with support. Anything we muster about these parts is counted on fingers an toes. For now.
*heh* Wiseacre…! ;-)
Well, I’m fixing to carve some more from my flat of corned beef…!
I shall bid ya good folks another fond adieu, and, hope to see y’all tomorrow nite…!
