It is not bitter here tonight, at least the air is not. I am still working on my personal bitterness in my “relationship” with Warren Buffett. I will have to get some kind of creative thing going in order to transform the energy I have about it into something better. I have been gathering info and hoping that someone will do something humane for any small reason so that we will end up with something better. But it has been nothing but discouraging. So the bitterness, it stays.
i’m looking forward to spring — i’ve not seen spring here before… i’ve got a big ole cherry tree in the neighbor across the street’s yard that i can’t wait to see in bloom — along with her neighbor’s big ole apple tree. and there is the pear tree down the street.
It’s been cold for these parts, but warming up tonight. But, nothing out of the usual.
Somehow, our politics seems to have taken a turn for even crazier than usual. If I understand, SCOTUS has ruled that the president can violate the Bill of Rights provided that he does so in secret. And, the Dems have given Jack Lew a pass. And, we think that it’s better for students to borrow money at 6.8% to fund universities than for the government to do so at negative effective interest rates. And, the world is again going to end at midnight when there’s a $42.5 billion per years cut to civilian spending; forget the three times that amount they picked out of the pockets of the working class in January without much less whimpering.
On the same freaking page, wigwam. I had some nice moments today, and maybe we just have to focus on those a little more. The other thing, the anger, it is really hard to live with it. So that’s all I am saying.
Spiritual escape, hedonism, more of that. Because the hope is hard to find, if you understand my drift.
I think there’s something to be said for identifying and nail the craziness rather than just feeling victimized by it. It’s therapeutic to get angry at something very specific and being able to articulate what’s so crazy about it.
You’re doing a great job of it. The crap that gets fobbed off onto us by the MSM is truly appalling.
I had a very good friend who was involved in top-level espionage in the mid 70s, who assured me that Pravda and Tass were no more government compliant that the U.S. press. And, that was the mid 70s. They’ve become much more compliant since then.

Hi Suzanne, Tut, and BG.
hey wigwam — how’s the inland empire tonight?

But, I’m in a better mood than usual. ;-)

Hey thanks, BG.

If the American electorate couldn’t learn from that, …!
