happy friday pups!
*heh* Doth, I dare make an appearance, Suz…? ;-)
Aloha, Suz, and all the lln pups…!
aloha tut — how’s paradise tonight?
The prairie dog glee club? Hilarious! I must have missed them the first time around. Now to watch.
hey tejan — how’s tejas tonight?
Oh, my gawd, they are adorable! Love their little red mouths, opened wide to sing. That’s a keeper, Suze, good choice.
so glad ya liked it. i loved the ending — and the reason kermit is hiding behind the curtain at the start of the video is earlier they stole his coller so he’s nekkid
Mighty Soggy today, here’s a great before and after, ironically, about a month ago, I was bemoaning the fact that Rainbow Falls wasn’t flowing at all…! 8-(
A tad chilly. Going down to the 40′s; probably not there yet. Dampish. We didn’t get the big rainstorm we were supposed to earlier this week.
Beautiful weather this afternoon. When I stopped by the fancy grocery store this afternoon, the first spring plants were out for sale. Racks of herbs…basil and mint, chives and , and..well, those are the ones I remember. They look all green and healthy, standing upright in their pots. (by June, they’ll be kinda puny, drooping and limp, despite the store’s efforts to water etc.)
Also…sigh…azaleas, and a “mini-rose”, and something else pink that I forget the name of.
I’d just love to grab a pot or two of flowers, but it’s too soon, even if I had enough sun for them. There’ll be a freeze, for sure, if I buy flowers. But cold weather is so unpredictable around here.
Oh well.
How do you know that?
(how funny, that without his collar Kermit is nekkid).
wow
Thwack… got that damn puke right in the face.. Drive by funny..
i’ve got all kinda bulbs coming up and several plants are starting to get leaf buds. am still waiting to see if the fuchsias survived the winter or not — i had repotted them in september and they were putting out tons of flowers right up to the freeze.
if ya click on the prairie dog link in the post, the link is about their antics in that episode and how they stole everything, including kermit’s collar.
hey nahant — how ya been dood?

Hey Suzanne! I’m a child of the prairie and couldn’t stop giggling at the whipping away of critters, :]
I hope all is well with your tribe. Our son’s captain just dropped off some crab on his way home. As I was making crab cakes I couldn’t help visualize what we’d get as perks when they switch to Slime Eels next month. That’s going to be an out-of-the-box fishing family moment.
Slime Eels are a delicacy that I’m not Googling until they sign the contract. Sending home crab and salmon is awesome, it makes a parent proud. And it makes for great dinner parties.
Slime Eel.
open minds
and awesome dipping sauces?
hey ce — how’s cleveland tonight?
Ok tis Tucker’s 8th B-Day can ya believe that Suz?
We’re still under Flash Flood Advisories, but, it’s not raining here, so there is that…! ;-)
Oh, I see.
Hey, I’ve spent the evening looking at pretty pictures and finally putting some into Pinterest. (I signed up, realized what a time sink it would be and have stayed away. but…)
I’m starting to half-wish I’d got an iPhone instead of Samsung Galaxy SIII, just because iPhone has SO many gorgeous cases you can buy. Look at this (seen on Pinterest, of course)
No doubt there will be more for Galaxy SIII as time passes, but geez, the iPhone gets all the good stuff! (whine, whine)
Hi,openhope. Seems like I heard something about Slime Eels somewhere recently. Perhaps I heard that they’re good to eat?
Have you got a sort of CSA for fish? Send you a box of whatever the catch is, by subscription?
Wet, dreary. I have a killer cold and can’t get rid of this headache! Blahhhh.
hey openhope — how’s the sound tonight? crab and salmon? woohoo how forking kewl!
i wonder if slime eels are those eels that ya get when ya get eel sushi. so yummy if they are the same critter.
my krew is good — had lunch and a movie with jen today :) some good mother/daughter as equal adults time :)
yup. token will be 8 in two days… on the 24th
Aloha, open…! It’s been too long since I last saw ya, M’dear…! 8-P

Such Great Heights
fuck that blows ce. i hope you feel better soon hon (((ce)))
*ouch* That bites, Christine…! *g*
that’s right they are almost litter buds..
*heh* Here’s your Latte, M’dear…! ;-)
Yeah, I’ve seen some pretty sparkly ones. Not my style, but pretty.
CE, so sorry you’re sick. As yellowsnapdragon would say, eat some chickie soup and sleep! At least it’s the weekend.
Hope you feel better soon.
I must let go of the keyboard and head off to get ready for bed. Trying to wake up earlier and do stuff tomorrow.
Thanks for a fun finish to the evening, Suze; nice to “see” everybody!
*laughing* that foam art totally makes up for your camera crack on facebook tut
g’nite tejan
Damn. I hate flash flood warnings. I’ve been my own guinea pig, taking MMS to find out if it really kills pathogens. That’s a huge dialog. I fuckin’ wish I’d discovered MMS when we still had good insurance. Now, I can’t get blood tests to chart a baseline through the 3 week treatment.
Rethinking our present situation. Can we provide clean water. Do we have a game plan to think outside the box and reconnect with community.
I think it’s time to reach out and rethink community.
oy. i sound like a nutter
what is MMS?
Hey y’all, sorry I wasn’t here last night when my music was up, I had a last-minute gig…
hey thatguy – i saw you came in after i left when i checked the thread today. how was your gig last night?
Excellent – thoroughly enjoyable…
What sucks is it has already claimed a few lives and houses, across the Isle chain, and, the Sat Pics show much more is headed our way…!
kewl. how’s the south bay tonight?
fuck
Oh,man. I tried to edit that comment. FAIL.
sorry
iirc ya only get 5 minutes to edit
Cold. Finally getting some traction with the momster’s trust. Neither the sister nor I are the trustee, and the people who are are demonstrably flaky, which I have found infuriating, but I think the suggestion from my sister that I might drop in to get the trust documents…UNANNOUNCED, lit something of a fire under their flaky asses.
yay! i know that has been bothering ya
You have no idea. I was ready to go to SF (I know where the trustee lives) and knock on the door and say “Where the fuck are my documents? Give ‘em up NOW!” At 6’3″, 280, I’m still an intimidating threat.
Sons of bitches.
*laughing* knowing you, yes i did :)
sorry pups but i was up at 915 since jen picked a movie that started at *gulp* 1130. unfortunately, my early start has now caught up with me
thank you for letting me hang out here tonight.
g’nite all
It’s controversial. Check out Jim Humble, I like his interview at ProjectCamelot, but his website is jimhumble.org.
He became a non-religious religion to keep MMS available to people as a killer of pathogens. For pennies a treatment. Malaria was his first encounter with it’s properties. It’s Water Purifier activated with citric acid to turn it into a gas that the red blood cells gather up the same as they do oxogen nd blast pathogens.
I’m 2 weeks into treating a serious sinus infection. I can breathe through my nose for the first time in my life.
However, I’m feeling fatigue, stomach pains, lethargy. If I was taking a 2 week antibiotic…I’d be feeling the same way. This is also the dark month that plagues me,regardless. In theory, the pathogens get killed by ripping a hole in their side, as opposed to killing healthy cells.
I’m the guinea pig. I’ve got one more week. Also, I’m taking 5,000 units of vitamin d3 lanolin based per day. Because it’s what out bodies use best. But, plant based or fish based works, too.
yeah
I are slow today!
Yeah, I hear you.
Sweet dreams, Suz…!
To keep talking….I found out about MMS [Miracle Mineral Solution] because I was introduced to Matthew Stein and his “When Disaster Strikes” on FDL book salon. I bought 3 books as Christmas presents. And HE mentioned MMS, though he never took it. I think. I’m now taking it to see if it really is worth it’s salt as a common healing agent.and because without Health Insurance,a major sinus infection will drive you into deep debt . I have proof. So, really, this is an FDL Book Salon thing I’ve got myself tangled in………:] This next era health care.
CTuttle, sorry I’m so slow tonight. The storm maps you posted are kind of worrying. We’re in a high wind for the rest of the night.
calm before the storm ?
Is there a proper sign-off for communication when going into extreme weather events? We’re going to need to come up with a calming slogan. I’m sure there’s lots of oldies around somewhere. Stiff upper lip and all that.
oy, just back away from the keyboard, openhope
Good morning, pups. Today we have Blow, Nocera, Bruni and Collins. In “Dire Consequences and Denial” Mr. Blow says there are two fundamentally different perspectives on a budget solution. Only one is supported by a majority of Americans. Mr. Nocera says “This War Is No Longer Invisible,” and that an Oscar-nominated documentary shortchanges the military’s serious response to rape. Me? I think Mr. Nocera shortchanges the problem. Mr. Bruni, in “The Mummy Returns,” says with a new prime minister as well as a new pope in the offing, Italy is an opera of endless amazement. Ms. Collins has given us “Sequester For Dummies.” Don’t worry, Concerned Citizens. With all the gossip these days swirling around budget cuts, she’s prepared to answer all your important questions.
Here they are, and
here’s Krugman’s blog.
The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve got blueberry pancakes this morning. We’ve got rain today, but nothing like what was predicted. It was VERY windy yesterday morning, with reports that we might get downpours with 2″ of rain, but we have nice, gentle rain instead thank heaven. Drenching downpours I can do without. Have a great day.
