If they could offer an honorary mention on their Enemies List, I just might spring for it. They could keep the other premiums, too.

The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and the biscuits are out of the oven. That enemies list is REALLY special. Who would ever have thought that Hallmark Cards would “have lent their corporate support to gun control initiatives or taken position supporting gun control?” I’ve been expecting their line of “BANG, Whoops, So Sorry” cards to come out… And they haven’t updated lately, because Dead Ed Koch is still on the list, as a “former politician.” Oddly enough, however, Michael Bloomberg isn’t… Maybe because he’d make a fuss and call people’s attention to the list, after which hilarity would ensue. I understand they are still in negotiations with Darth Cheney to use his likeness.

And that would give rise to the rival card line from American Greetings featuring his hunting buddy — the “Bang Bang, You Shot Me Down” line. (Yep, I’m old enough to remember that song…)

Sure! That’s what the negotiations are all about. Using them both on the same card:
“Give a Whit(tington)! Don’t Dick around with guns!”

I think i disagree with his opening assumption. I think far too many Dem politicians see this as simply political advantage rather than the right thing to do.

But I will accept the right decision for the wrong reason from the government. It’s better than nothing.

Thanks, Marion, and Keller is about getting the Hispanic votes, which the wingnuts know is not going to happen… if they give them the vote. The Hispanic vote is sane for the most part, and even our teabaggage knows that much. Not going to let it happen.

Interesting about Jews and African-Americans, attaturk. I’ve generally felt that the NRA is a meet market for people interested in a fascist takeover, whatever else it may be. Your post does nothing to allay the suspicion.

Someone needs to start a movement to get rid of Wayne LaPierre as head of the NRA. If he is busy fighting for his power, than he will have little left to fight for gun violence.
