Hiya Pups! All the snow is melting, MELTING! and we should have temps into the 50′s by tomorrow. We are worried about all the flu reported, though not in our house. We had flu shots in the fall, but reports of jammed ERs scare me.

Aloha, Christine, best of luck…! My eldest, in Ohio, has decided to take both Yoga and Kick Boxing this semester at a local CC…! She was just grumbling that muscles she’d never knew existed were sore…! ;-)

Just watched NOVA: Decoding Neanderthals. Fabulous. I love genetics and the idea that there was inbreeding with Neanderthals is fascinating. Particularly in Tuscany. Gotta go back and study those Etruscans!

Speaking of Tuscany and seed catalogs, I ordered some red poppy seeds from a catalog. Threw some into my front yard and marked ‘em off last fall. They germinated and gave me some red poppy joy. Have another patch starting outside my kitchen door. I’ve never seen anything like the red poppies in Tuscany. Just makes me happy to think of them.
