Hi Kids………. all quiet in the ‘nard. I’m loving the longer days. Waiting for some warmer weather, of course.

Whatup? I am alone with the cats this week, J is out of town on biz almost all week. I am working on my truck, rebuilding the cooling system. I love being self-reliant, but I HATE getting dirty and cold. Anti-freeze sure does stink.

yay! a fairly dry day today with more rain coming in tomorrow. its warmed way up — currently 42 outside and my high was 50!

I fought wild land fire on a crew in Northern CA and Southern Oregon two fire seasons and that is how they get started frequently. The seasons are longer now and the crews fly in from all over on an incident. As in Australia where they are on standby. The carbon industry should get the bills.

I drove a couple tug capt’n's today and they were talkin about the whole Kulluk thing and they were miss informed as i could tell as i was well versed in Unified command-thanks to ET, well they said that the tow pins on the kulluk were only 8′ apart and that was not a proper way to bridle a rig and could have been the cause for lack of tow. Also the tow length was not near enough.
